This was a “true recyclable project” on account of that they used recycled jeans to create sculptures without being able to apply fashion alterations to the jeans. Burjuman, Fashion Shopping Mall; Mohanad Shuraideh Mohanad Shuaideh was the creative director for this advertisement shoot. There are so many aspects to this photo that I love: the drama of the dress, the construction of the dress, the fact that the dress was probably made of shopping bags, and of course the dark setting in the background which gives the poster an ominous feel. Furniture; Andrew Kopp This piece was designed by Andrew Kopp, a recent RSID graduate. I always find it inspiring to see other student’s work. What I find interesting about this bench is that it seems to feel as though it’s a delicate seat to sit on because of the tapering legs and thin plywood base.
Carinthia; Ross Bruggink This poster design is reminiscent of the setting of Carinthia, Austria. I appreciate how balanced the poster is with such a complex illustration. Also, the type face chosen for the poster is very fitting in that it’s a serif, so it feels traditional. The overall piece is quite elegant.

I find this space mesmerizing. From floor to ceiling, the space is dynamic, alluring and energetic - which are all perfect adjectives for a nightclub. This night club, situated in Brazil, was designed by DJ and Architect, Fred Mafra. Throughout the space, the geometric lines are carried throughout to unify it all. I love the combination...
